Quotation Process

How We Confirm and Quote Brake Calipers

What to send, what we confirm, and how lead time is agreed. Clear steps for importers, rebuilders and trading companies.

Direct Answer

Send the OE number (or drawing, part photos and critical dimensions), left or right side where applicable, required quantity and destination. We review the reference and configuration, clarify kit contents where needed, and confirm availability, MOQ and commercial terms before an order is placed. Production lead time is confirmed for the specific order and starts from the agreed milestone stated in the quotation or order confirmation—not automatically from the first inquiry.

What to send for a usable quotation

Brake caliper assemblies

01

OE number (for example, 47730-0K300 / 47750-0K300; each reference must be checked individually)

02

Left-hand or right-hand side, as applicable

03

With or without bracket

04

Quantity per reference and side

05

Destination country or port

06

Any special packaging or documentation requirements

Repair kits, guide pins, pistons and other components

01

OE or part reference, where available

02

Clear photographs of the original part; include measured dimensions when necessary

03

Critical dimensions such as guide pin diameter/length or piston diameter/height

04

Required kit contents, or a request for us to confirm the contents

05

Quantity per reference

06

Destination country or port

Have a mixed-reference list? Send it as one file. We will check the items individually and identify any missing information.

What we confirm before quoting or producing

01

1. Reference and configuration

We check the requested OE or part reference and the configuration: left/right, with or without bracket, and relevant technical details. A vehicle model name alone may not identify the correct caliper.

02

2. Assembly or repair kit contents

For repair kits, we confirm the included components and quantities for the specific reference. Guide pins, boots, seals, bolts, grease and other items are not assumed to be included unless confirmed.

03

3. Availability, MOQ and quotation basis

Stock availability, minimum order quantity and price are confirmed per reference and quantity. There is no single MOQ or lead time that applies to every product. We also confirm the applicable trade term and destination information needed for the quotation.

04

4. Samples and technical approval, when required

Sample availability and charges depend on the reference and project. For dimension-critical or custom items, the agreed sample or drawing may need approval before production. Any arrangement to credit sample charges against a future order must be confirmed separately in writing.

05

5. Packing and shipping documents

We discuss neutral or customer-branded packaging, carton marking and the commercial documentation needed for the destination. Requirements are reviewed before packing or shipment; branded packaging is subject to artwork approval and order conditions.

When does lead time start?

Lead time is quoted for the specific product, quantity and production status. Depending on the order, the agreed starting point may be:

01

Written confirmation of the order and final specification

02

Approval of a sample or drawing, when required

03

Receipt of an agreed deposit or other contractual prerequisite

04

Approval of packaging artwork, if it affects production

The exact milestone and lead time are stated in the quotation or order confirmation. An inquiry email alone does not start a production commitment.

What commonly causes delays or mismatches?

01

Providing only the vehicle model without a verifiable OE or part reference

02

Omitting left/right or bracket configuration

03

Assuming all repair kits contain the same items

04

Omitting critical dimensions for pistons, guide pins or seals

05

Assuming one published MOQ or lead time applies to all references

06

Changing drawings, specifications or packaging after approval

The practical solution is to confirm the part reference, configuration, quantities and technical requirements before order approval.

How to start

Send your OE list, part photos or drawings, quantity per reference, and destination country or port. For assemblies, specify side and bracket requirements. For components, provide critical dimensions where available. We will review the information, identify what can be matched, and explain what needs confirmation before a quotation can be finalized.
